Competition
MOTHER'S DAY COMPETITION
With the winter chill now in the air we've lined up a fabulous prize for this month's Mother's Day Competition.

The Mohair Millshop Factory Outlet (page 109) is always a great place to visit if you're looking for a warm blanket, as they offer a good range of beautiful mohair blankets in different sizes. Their shop also sells mohair shawls, scarves, knitting yarn, socks and more. We're delighted that they are giving one of our readers the chance to win a gorgeous (110cm x 130cm) mohair knee blanket valued at R500. The lucky winner will be notified telephonically and can then visit the shop to choose their knee blanket.
All you need to do to put yourself in line to win this great prize is to email the answer to the following easy question, together with your name and contact details, to: pamblack@factoryshops.co.za
Question: What is the address of The Mohair Millshop Factory Outlet?
The winner will be notified telephonically and will need to visit the shop to collect the prize. (Terms and Conditions apply.) Closing date for entries is Tuesday 10th May 2016. |

MOTHER'S DAY SPECIALS
If you are still undecided about a Mother’s Day gift for your Mom a visit to Tifgifts in Paarden Eiland (page 220) could well solve your problem. They manufacture toiletry items for leading retailers and live up to their claim to be the ‘home of scented gifts and toiletries.’ Their ready-made gift-sets are always popular but if you are creative and want to put together your own gift you will find a multitude of suitable items to combine at an extremely reasonably price. They also offer a range of suitable containers for your gift. In addition to their regular hours this week, they will also be open on Saturday 7 May 2016 from 9.00-12.30. As this shop doesn’t accept credit cards, payment is cash only.
Freezerland (page 213) is always a good place to visit for stocking up one’s freezer at very affordable prices. They have many branches around the Peninsula and their Tokai branch (page 248) has a great special on at present. If you buy two packets of chicken schnitzels you get one packet of frozen chips free. The schnitzels are on offer at an excellent price of only R79.90 per kg. This offer is on while stocks last.
From now until Saturday 7th May, Bargain Books Factory Shop in Diep River are offering discounts on the following:
Selected books by female authors; low priced journals; selected cookery books; books with mind, body, spirit and healthy living titles. Plus all customers have the chance to win a hamper of books. |

Factory Shop News
NEW SHOP
I was delighted to find out recently about a new factory shop in Maitland called Creative Design Company Factory Shop. My youngest granddaughter’s wardrobe definitely benefitted from my visit to this shop! They manufacture children’s clothing, sleepwear and blankets (from newborn to 24 months) for leading retailers. At their small attractively laid out shop they sell their overruns and rejects. The shop is very popular and stock moves fast, which is not surprising as I thought the good quality garments were extremely reasonable in price. The day I visited the stock consisted of cute all in one cotton sleepsuits, polar fleece sleepsuits and beanies, bodyvests, leggings, hanky bibs, burpers, blankets, facecloths and more. As this is a genuine factory shop remember to check the garments for any flaws before leaving. Recommended. |
