Gatti Ice Cream (Lansdowne)

This attractive shop is situated on the corner of Orion and Polaris Roads and there is plenty of covered parking outside the building. I’ve always liked the large, colourful posters on the walls of their foyer illustrating their full range of mouth-watering ice creams, along with the prices, to help you with your choice. Not that it’s ever easy making a choice here as I inevitably change my mind many times before settling on a particular flavour. The range is vast and there is something to suit all tastes ranging from good old favourites like vanilla wafers or hearts to classic chocolate lollies. The chocolate lollies are great if you have a crown to feed as they are always welcomed. After you’ve placed your order at the counter, go back outside and hand your invoice to the gentleman next to the large cold-room who will present you with your ice cream. Even when extremely busy at the height of the season, the service here is consistently friendly and very efficient. Highly recommended.
