If approaching from the Koeberg Road end you will find this shop on the right hand side of the road in the complex called Hanger 17. The friendly guard at the gate of the complex pointed me in the right direction to their factory – there is parking outside their door. Once inside I was greeted by the wonderful sight of hundreds of newly made koeksisters and even more exciting was to be able to purchase these most delicious freshly made beautiful treats at an extremely reasonable price. I popped into my husband’s office on the way home and share a packet with him and his co-workers who all gave the koeksisters rave comments. I especially liked the comments made by someone who is a keen baker. Her apt description that the koeksisters were not too heavy, very moist, slightly crisp on the outside, but soft in the middle and excellent, summed them up perfectly. Highly recommended.
